Our foodie friday is here again.. with winter still underway try this easy Chicken Pot Pie Soup. Perfect for lunch or dinner & of course a freezable. Check it out...
2 cups Chicken, cooked
3 Carrots or 12 mini carrots
4 Celery pieces
2 Potatoes, medium
1 Yellow onion, small
2 tbsp Flour
1 Salt and pepper
1 1/2 cups heavy cream or skim milk
3 tbsp Butter
4 cups Water
1 can peas
Pre-cook your chicken and cut into pieces. In a Pot add your water, chicken and all vegetables. Cook for a half hour until boiling. Turn down to medium heat. In another pot melt butter and slowly add flour in mixing each time-whisk in your cream or milk and spices. Add to your pot of veggies and cook on low for another half hour. Enjoy.
